The ACT 2024 Veteran’s and Families’ Expo was held in July 2024 and brought together a range of stallholders providing information, advice and referral on a range of supports and programs available in the Canberra region, as well as informative presentations, a designated quiet space, activities for kids and families and food and drink options.
Our Hughes Community Centre was transformed into a vital hub of information, resources and connection that joins together organisations and people who really want to make a difference in the lives of Veterans and their families.
Entry was free, with three targeted sessions:
- 10am-11am – quiet hour
- 11am-1pm – Session 1 (ageing and transition focus with presentations and workshops)
- 1pm-3pm – Session 2 (family fun and activities)
Please note: session times are indicative and entry available for all cohorts all day.
