During UPSTAGEING, come and try a ZEST Dance for Wellbeing class for free.

ZEST Dance for Wellbeing offer joyful movement classes designed for adults who want to keep their body and brain active and healthy, regardless of their mobility, skill or age. We start sitting in a chair, with options to stand and travel. No partner needed, no previous dance experience necessary. Feed your body and spirit with music and movement, be physically and mentally inspired and stimulated, have fun, meet new friends and feel good.

The program grew from the Dance for Parkinson’s classes established in the ACT in 2013. Classes are taught by a team of highly experienced and dedicated dance artists, who will guide you through a carefully planned series of dance activities.

Some of the ZEST dancers have performed publicly and at functions specifically supporting aspects of ageing. In performance they embody the spirit of dance thriving in all ages and abilities.

ZEST Dance for Wellbeing classes take place around the ACT – in arts centres, community centres and retirement villages.
Some classes are tailored especially for people living with Parkinson’s.
