TAI CHI & CREATIVE FLOW by TAI CHI FOR EVERYDAY WELLBEING
Enjoy the creative flow of Tai Chi movement and mindfulness. Demonstrations and the opportunity to try Tai Chi yourself. We are also painters, poets, quilters, teachers, scientists and gallery volunteers. Join us afterwards at Daughters at Hall (RSVP) for creative conversations. Bring show and tell. Share your own creative/ageing experience.
Join us for a morning of Tai Chi movement, grace and mindfulness, with demonstrations and an opportunity to try Tai Chi. See how to grasp the peacock’s tail, play the lute and punch the tiger’s ears in 24 Yang, while listening to well-known poet Hazel Hall read from her collection Step by Step.
Have a go at some short forms including 4 Minute Tai Chi for Energy and Shibashi. Enjoy some Tai Chi walking. Feel the creative flow. This open morning is free.
And if that’s not enough come along afterwards to Daughters at Hall Café for more conversations including creative ageing. Some of our members are poets, artists, quilters, singers and scientists (and former teachers, nurses) — why not bring your own creative experiences. Show and tell welcome.
Please note that bookings are required for Daughters at Hall by Sunday March 22 and that refreshments are available for purchase — full menu/coffee/cake.
Tai Chi for Everyday Wellbeing is held in Hall on Tuesdays at 10.30 am during school terms (and also Yass on Fridays). Beginners always welcome. The group leader is Lizz Murphy of Binalong.
