Special Creative Arts Exhibition, Book Launch and Musical Interlude.

As part of COTA’s Upstaging Seniors Art Festival our club will take part with a
special exhibition of our talented member’s creative skills.
The exhibition will be wide ranging and include.

• a photographic display by Justin Flynn of the Lake Tuggeranong
College mural,
• an exhibition of members paintings and drawings being co-ordinated by
Catherine Alexander,
• a display of works by our Graphite Arts group,
• our Knit n Natter group will have a display of knitted & crocheted items
which will be donated to charity,
• the book launch of “Cyclone Tracy 50 Years On – Personal Reflections
from Canberra” written by club members and friends.

As part of the book launch, it is hoped to have a display of books written by our
members including a variety of family histories.

The exhibition will be held in the Tuggeranong 55Plus clubrooms, 101 Cowlishaw St.
Greenway on Thursday 26 March between 3.30 pm and 5.00 pm.

There will be entertainment by the ukelele duo “Sockdraw Archaeology”.

There will also be drinks and nibbles to partake in while enjoying the display.

There is no charge, so come along and help celebrate our members’ many creative
