No better way to celebrate ACT’s UPSTAGEING festival! Enjoy the music of friends in Classical & lighter styles, with ‘Senior Status’ host, violist Robert Harris. Fun music by best buddies (Bach and Telemann, Haydn and Mozart, Gilbert and Sullivan, Rodgers and Hammerstein), families (the Strauss waltz kings, the brothers Gershwin) and some great composers creating well into their ‘Senior’ years (Verdi, Irving Berlin, Andrew Lloyd Webber).

Musician and arts fan(atic), now a Canberran after 50+ years of concerts in 30+ countries (from Carnegie Hall and Wigmore Hall to our worlds of Asia and Oceania, from Foreign Affairs tours to Classic Concerts cruises), Robert Harris continues his ‘arts & entertainment’ pleasures. He is a renowned viola player in Classical and contrast styles for orchestras, opera, ballet, stage and screen, and has performed as Principal Viola for ACO, and with great artists such as Pavarotti, Streisand and Stevie Wonder.
