UC’s Stay Smart Online Team from the News and Media Research Centre recently developed a one-hour-long session to increase media literacy and online confidence, and the results have been positive:
* Media literacy scores among participants improved by 23% across all demographics.
* 80% of participants indicated an improvement in their confidence to navigate online.
