Taking charge and doing it alone after a life change

As we age, life brings a series of transitions that can significantly impact our well-being, especially after major events such as relationships or marriages changing or ending, exploring options or navigating life after an abusive situation, a partner losing capacity or needing more care than you can provide, or handling significant legal and financial changes. June’s Midweek Matters will aim to provide you with information that might help you take control of these situations as you age.

Join us to explore a range of supportive services with guest speakers in the legal and financial space including separation and family law, your rights, support if experiencing abuse and financial considerations on these life changes such as pensions and superannuation.

Don’t miss this opportunity to empower yourself with the knowledge and resources to take control life’s transitions smoothly and effectively. Whether you’re dealing with a recent separation or change in relationship or overcoming abuse this session is not to be missed.

A light afternoon tea will be provided, and you’ll have the opportunity to socialise and ask questions to our range of panelists at the end of the session.

When: Wednesday 19th June, 1 pm

Where: Hughes Community Centre Hall, 2 Wisdom St Hughes

Cost: Free, but booking is essential!
