Imperium by Canberra Dance Theatre’s GOLD dancers

Canberra Dance Theatre’s GOLD dancers present Imperium. Choreographed by award winning Welsh dance artist Carol Brown, Imperium is a tale of the use and abuse of power and its corrupting influence.
GOLD dancers (Growing Old Disgracefully), challenge community stereotypes of who older people are and what they offer to society. Established in 2011 for people over 55, GOLD first performed publicly at Belconnen Arts Centre. Over 100 performances later, GOLD have worked with renowned choreographers and performed locally, nationally and internationally.
