Free taster classes for new comers – ZEST Dance for Wellbeing
For the week Monday 7 thru Friday 11 September, ZEST Dance for Wellbeing are offering free taster classes for newcomers.
ZEST classes are movement classes designed for adults who want to keep their body and brain active and healthy, regardless of their mobility, skill or age.
We start sitting on a chair, with options to stand and travel. No previous dance experience or dance partner is necessary.
Two classes are tailored especially for people living with Parkinson’s disease (Tuesday, 1.15pm at Belco Arts and Wednesday 11.15am at Tuggeranong Arts Centre).
The most active class is ZESTup (Tuesdays, 10.30-11.30am) where the focus is on standing and travelling.
In all ZEST classes, feed your body and spirit with music and movement, be physically and mentally inspired and stimulated, have fun, meet new friends and feel good!Classes are taught by a team of highly experienced and dedicated dance artists. They take place in arts centres, community centres and retirement villages.
