Start with a Line A Guided Drawing Taster with Leigh Walker
A relaxed 2.5 hour drawing taster session led by inspiring artist and teacher Leigh D Walker. Leigh’s belief is that strong drawing skills are the heartbeat of every art practice. Work with pencil, in this class, to build the essential skills every artist needs.

Mixed Media Minis with Rachel Wykeham
In this workshop, participants will explore the creative possibilities of creating a series of small mixed media artworks. Students will experiment with both wet and dry mediums, focusing on layering, mark making, texture and contrast. Participants will work with materials such as paint, ink, collage, pencil and other mixed media tools – all supplied – to build expressive miniature pieces. Working small encourages freedom and play, allowing ideas to develop intuitively. Suitable for all skill levels, this class is ideal for anyone wanting to explore mixed media processes, loosen up creatively, or generate ideas for larger works.
Pastel Drawing: Colour & Atmosphere with Florence Steel
Learn how to create atmospheric drawings with pastel. Participants will learn indirect application and slowly build form and colour using layers. Students will experiment with interesting colour choices to affect the mood of the work.

Using fabric collage and embroidery, you can work with text, images or a combination of both to represent what sustains you – or just lose yourself in this gentle creative process.
